What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information ReactCity ("we," "the site," "reactcity.com") collects when you use the studio, and how it's handled. ReactCity is a browser-based reaction video tool: as of this writing, it runs entirely in your browser and does not have user accounts.

Camera and microphone access

If you enable your camera, your browser asks your permission directly we never receive that permission without your explicit action. Your camera and microphone feed is processed entirely on your own device. It is displayed on your screen and, if you choose to record, captured directly by your browser's own screen-recording feature. We do not receive, transmit, or store your camera or microphone data on any server.

Videos you upload or link to

When you upload a video file, it's loaded directly into your browser and never leaves your device it is not uploaded to any ReactCity server. When you paste a direct video URL or a YouTube link, your browser requests that video directly from the source you provided (or from YouTube); ReactCity does not proxy, store, or have access to that video content.

Recordings you make

When you use the recording feature, your browser captures your screen locally and creates a video file that stays on your device. Downloading that file saves it to your computer. We do not receive a copy of your recordings.

Marked moments and notes

Timestamps and notes you add while reacting are held in your browser's memory for that session and are not sent to or stored on any server.

Advertising

ReactCity may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Analytics

We may use an analytics service (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall site traffic and usage patterns for example, how many people visit, which pages they view, and general device/browser information. This is aggregate, not tied to your name or identity as far as we are concerned.

Third-party embeds

When you load a YouTube link, you're interacting directly with YouTube's own embedded player, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube's own terms, not this one. We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which may log standard request data (like your IP address) as described in Google's policies.

Children's privacy

ReactCity is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If ReactCity adds features that change how data is handled — such as user accounts, payments, or cloud storage of recordings this policy will be updated to reflect that, and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
